Mission Partners Announces Chief Strategy Officer, Expanded Leadership Team
Since opening our doors in 2017, Mission Partners has collectively contributed our time, treasure, and talent across hundreds of mission-aligned accounts. Our Certified B Corporation is redirecting millions of dollars to Black and women-led organizations, and we’re consistently guiding organizations through some of their most pivotal moments, always using strategic communications as a mission-critical tool to advance social justice.
This year will be a consequential one. Courageous and intentional leadership will matter. Authentic messages will matter, and equitable approaches will matter. You will need sound strategies and trusted partners as you navigate through whatever challenges unfold ahead for your organization.

In addition to our dynamic core team of partners, managers, and strategists, we are pleased to announce the following new hires and Leadership Team promotions:
Brian Fox (he/him), Chief Strategy Officer
Brian Fox joins Mission Partners as Chief Strategy Officer, and a member of the Mission Partners’ Leadership Team. Carrie and Brian began their social impact journey together at Loyola University 25 years ago. They worked together for nearly a decade at C.Fox Communications, and they are thrilled to reunite here at Mission Partners.
Brian brings two decades of experience in marketing, communications, and management, during which he has advanced the social impact of nonprofits, foundations, and purpose-driven businesses. He’s an award-winning writer, a trusted strategist, and a seasoned presenter, who has led sessions for CEOs, Governors, and Members of Congress; delivered message and presentation training; and executed a range of communications campaigns. Most recently, Brian has been on the front lines of health and wellness initiatives, from supporting executives in delivering key healthcare messages to supporting individuals along their personal health and wellness journeys.
Allison Kadin (she/her), Director
Allison Kadin (she/her) has been promoted to Director, and assumes a new role on Mission Partners’ Leadership team. Allison brings over a decade of experience in strategy, creative production, communications, fundraising, and project operations to mission-driven organizations and collectives. Allison deftly merges her experience in nonprofit management with bold and creative strategy development for social impact organizations. Allison was among Race Forward’s first cohort of the Racial Equity in the Arts Innovation Lab and an International Society for the Performing Arts Global Fellow. She serves on the boards of Ariel Rivka Dance and AENY – Spanish Artists in New York. Allison graduated from Wesleyan University with a BA in English, and recently received an MBA from Baruch’s Zicklin School of Business.
Kary Perez (she/her), Director
Kary Perez (she/her), Director, has also been promoted to the Mission Partners’ Leadership Team, where she will take on an expanded role on client accounts and business development. An impact-driven strategist, Kary brings 10+ years of experience in equity-first program and campaign development, brand strategy, audience growth, and communications. Kary joined Mission Partners in early 2023 from Chalkbeat, where she was responsible for growing the news organization’s audience, deepening its impact, and diversifying revenue opportunities. She also led strategies for several large brands during her time at DoSomething Strategic. She began her career in book publishing, as an editor of niche non-fiction titles at Penguin Random House. Kary is a faculty member and mentor with Leadership Fellows NY, a program that supports future nonprofit leaders.
