Mission Partners Receives Highest Recognition for Workplace Mental Health for 3rd Consecutive Year
This Mental Health Action Day, we are thrilled to share that Mission Partners has been recognized as a leader in workplace wellbeing by Mental Health America. For the third consecutive year, we have received the highest recognition, the Platinum Bell Seal for Workplace Mental Health, for putting people first — not just in writing, but through our actions. Receiving the 2025 Bell Seal reaffirms that we are living our core company values, and taking action to support employee well-being year-round.
Since 2019, the Bell Seal for Workplace Mental Health has been the leading certification for workplaces committed to creating and maintaining policies and practices that support wellbeing. Mission Partners is proud to be in community with leaders across industries who prioritize mentally healthy workplaces, and we are grateful to Mental Health America for creating a mechanism for accountability and celebration. By meeting the Bell Seal criteria, leaders across the country have ensured over 5.1 million employees thrive at work.
Mental Health Bell Seal certification is awarded based on work across four main categories: Workplace Culture; Benefits that Support Mental Health; Caring Beyond Compliance; and Holistic Wellness at Work. Over the past year, Mission Partners has implemented new initiatives and benefits in each category, in addition to maintaining the programs that have strengthened employee wellbeing.
In 2024, we revisited internal working groups, known as Impact Initiatives, to ensure team members across organizational levels could collaborate on mission-critical work. One of Mission Partners’ Impact Initiatives, the Wellness at Work team, developed a calendar of wellness experiences, trainings, shared learning workshops, and benefits. Trainings included professional development for people managers on equitable and effective management practices that have encouraged a culture of feedback. In turn, employee feedback sparked refreshed policies around sick leave, parental leave, and sabbatical opportunities. Feedback was also at the center of intentional conversations with leadership focused on wellbeing during and after a challenging election season.
Each initiative helped foster workplace belonging and gave employees more decision-making power around personal wellness. Most importantly, our approach to well-being has not been static; we acknowledge that external shifts have impacts inside the workplace and have adapted our wellness benefits and programs to meet our people and the moment. We know that when we prioritize wellbeing at work, we can better show up for our partners and communities in times of uncertainty.
Mission Partners often refers to Mental Health America’s Workplace Wellness Resource Center and Health Action Alliance for tips, tools, and stories—and we also turn to our community. We connect with peers to share experiences so we can collectively build a new standard for workplace wellbeing.
