Mission Partners Announces 3-Year Commitment to Support Generation Hope
Today, Mission Partners is thrilled to announce our pledge of support for Generation Hope and their mission to ensure all student parents have the opportunities to succeed and experience economic mobility.
Founded in 2010, Generation Hope provides direct support to teen and student parents pursuing college completion in the Washington, D.C. region and New Orleans area, as well as multi-generational programming to their children as they prepare for kindergarten. The organization also partners with higher education institutions to improve student parent outcomes on campus and engages policy partners to drive lasting systems change.
Mission Partners has committed to supporting Generation Hope through a three-year investment that will support tuition assistance for students in Generation Hope’s foundational Scholar Program and allow alumni Scholars with relevant lived experience the opportunity to give back to the program as mentors.
“A core value of Mission Partners is centering people over profit, and that extends to how we invest in our community,” said Mission Partners’ Managing Director Jessica Hassanzadeh. “We conducted a thoughtful search to identify a values-aligned nonprofit organization to support through a multi-year investment. Our team was inspired by the work of Generation Hope and is excited to deepen the relationship between our organizations in the years to come.”
Mission Partners is honored to support Generation Hope and their vision of a world where all teen and student parents, and their children, have every opportunity to succeed and are empowered to create a better future for themselves, our community, and our world.
