Sadie Lockhart is the Community Engagement Coordinator for Mission Partners, a woman-owned, B Corp social impact agency. In her role, she works to grow and cultivate Mission Partner’s many layers of community: the company as a whole, the podcast ‘Mission Forward,’ and the ‘Adventures in Kindness’ book and kids’ campaign.
Sadie is a social activist, educator, community organizer, and creative artist. Her personal core values are infused into her work through the lenses of accessibility, inclusivity and authenticity. Prior to her time at Mission Partners, Sadie worked for several years in the nonprofit theater sector. Her expertise is in engaging and fostering authentic community connections, through community programs, honest conversations, and collaborative relationships. She also managed educational programming by guiding classes, developing curriculum, and facilitating teacher trainings. She has been a teaching artist around the U.S. and in Honduras, Costa Rica, and Ecuador. Sadie is a co-founder of The Oven, a theater for social change non-profit. She graduated from Towson University with a BFA in Acting and focuses on International Studies and Spanish.
Outside of work, Sadie is an active supporter and board member with SHH Kids, a nonprofit whose mission is to alleviate violence and extreme poverty in Honduras through education and youth empowerment. While originally from Maryland, Sadie currently resides in Florida, where you can find her anywhere outside – going on an adventure, paddle boarding, doing yoga, making art, or walking her cat, Potato. Sadie is honored to be a part of the Mission Partners team and looking forward to connecting with its community.
