Mission Partners Welcomes Two New Leaders; Celebrates a Promotion
Photo features Mission Partners’ team members (from left to right): Nancy Levesque, Hannah Bloom, and Elena Hilton.
As I reflect on Labor Day and celebrate the achievements of our workforce, I am also grounded in the team we’ve built here at Mission Partners: a team of passionate, smart, and values-driven professionals who help make our daily work and impact so meaningful.
Together with our clients, we advance positive change in the world through authentic communications, equitable strategies, and intentional impact. This work requires many hands and hearts, and we’re pleased to announce the latest expansion of our team.
Introducing Nancy Levesque (she/her), Vice President of Client Service
Nancy Levesque brings over 20 years of experience in nonprofit, advocacy, and mission-driven marketing and communications. Her career has spanned agency, nonprofit, and in-house roles—from her earlier time at Discovery Communications and Arnold Worldwide to her most recent role leading communications at the Future of Privacy Forum, a global nonprofit advancing responsible data practices in emerging technology. She rebuilt and led the communications department there, elevating the organization’s visibility among policymakers, the media, and industry.
Her work has shaped award-winning publications, including those recognized with GDUSA’s Health & Wellness Award and the Aster Gold Award for excellence in healthcare design and editorial. In Baltimore, she also led a citywide sexual assault reporting campaign in partnership with Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake’s office.
Introducing Hannah Bloom (she/her), Director
Hannah Bloom brings over 15 years of experience in strategic communications, fundraising, and design for nonprofits and mission-driven organizations. She most recently ran an independent communications consulting business, helping clients build brands and campaigns that expand access to resources and fundamental freedoms. Previously, she was a senior communications officer at the Low Income Investment Fund, which invested $3.8 billion in affordable housing, early care and education, and community facilities. She has also worked to advocate for food access and racial justice through digital campaigns, events, and workshops.
Hannah finds joy in collaboration, project management, and the psychology of narrative change. She believes that long-term social change happens from the ground up and that a savvy communications partner can help facilitate courageous dialogue, turn insights into tactics, and grow awareness and influence.
And Celebrating the Promotion of Elena Hilton (she/her), to Vice President of Client Service
One of our longest-tenured team members, Elena Hilton, has been promoted to Vice President of Client Service and will soon join the Mission Partners’ Leadership Team. There, she will take on an expanded role in client accounts and agency advancement. Since joining Mission Partners in 2019, she has overseen projects with Democracy Fund, Trusted Elections Fund, American Press Institute, NewsMatch, international peacebuilder Dr. John Paul Lederach, and more. In 2020, Elena was part of the team that organized and branded the Rebuild Local News coalition, which is now the largest alliance of local publishers and labor unions, civic organizations and newsrooms working to advance public policies designed to strengthen community news.
Elena began her career at Hearst Magazines as a member of Esquire’s editorial team. As a freelance writer, her work has been published in Glamour, NBC News, Teen Vogue, Rolling Stone, and InStyle, among other publications.
Please join us in celebrating our colleagues, and thank you for your support and trust in Mission Partners. We continue to believe that small can be big and that together, we can do great things.
