Nimra Haroon is a Manager at Mission Partners, where she guides purpose-driven clients to achieve their greatest impact by crafting conscious, engaging, and equitable communication strategies, messaging, and campaigns. She leverages her experiences and education in cultural strategy, development, marketing, and sustainability to advance her clients’ visions for a better world.
Before joining Mission Partners, Nimra worked to support organizations across various issue areas at GMMB, the Center for Social Impact Communications at Georgetown University, The Black Sheep Agency, and the Houston Arts Alliance. She completed her graduate studies in integrated marketing communications at Georgetown University, earning a certificate in Cause Consulting through the Center for Social Impact Communication, where she remains involved as a program speaker. She holds a bachelor’s degree in communications, energy and sustainability, and Spanish from the University of Houston and a certification in Nonprofit Management from the Nonprofit Leadership Alliance.
Named a Future Asian Leader in 2023 by Asians in Advertising, Nimra is a founding board member of Truth in Common, which fosters an understanding of disinformation and social division and supports people to better navigate media, digital platforms, and discourse. She was an Emerging Leaders Finalist for Washington Women in Public Relations in 2022, a 2021 ADCOLOR Ambassador, 2018 ADCOLOR Future, ColorComm Fellow, MAIP alum, LAGRANT Foundation alum, and member of She Runs It. In her downtime, Nimra is an avid traveler, aspiring chef, and passionate about civic and historic preservation. She honors her Pakistani heritage and is based in Houston.
