Matt Price is a Researcher in Residence for Mission Partners. He helps clients achieve their research and business goals by leveraging two decades of qual/quant experience and by incorporating empathy, nuance, and a capacity for insight into all research phases, from design to execution to analysis to reporting.
Matt brings a unique mix of research acumen and communications experience, having worked extensively in polling firms, communications agencies, and market research shops. Prior to his work with Mission Partners, he served as Director of Customer Insights for Pacific Consulting Group, where he worked extensively with federal government agencies and entities such as the IRS, the Social Security Administration, the National Gallery of Art, the Peace Corps to help them improve the customer experience (CX) of the Americans they serve. He approaches research with a campaign mindset, having cut his teeth in political polling for Lake Research Partners during four election cycles.
Matt holds an M.A. in Political Management from The George Washington University and graduated Magna cum Laude with a B.A. in Government and Politics from the University of Maryland, College Park. Seeking to impart knowledge to a next generation of thoughtful researchers, Matt has taught a statistics class for the GWU School of Political Management which focuses on using data to influence voters and win campaigns. He lives in Silver Spring, MD, with his wife and their three children. When he is not parenting, or living in an Excel spreadsheet, you might find him playing guitar, bass, or piano in his makeshift recording studio.
