Pronouns: she/her/hers
Hannah Taylor is a communications strategist with 15+ years of experience helping grassroots nonprofits and large mission-driven organizations align messaging and content for impact. She began her career as a community journalist, serving as editor of the Durham VOICE, a newspaper that empowers youth writers and strengthens the community through positive storytelling.
Hannah has worked extensively in community development, affordable housing, early care and education, and food systems spaces. Most recently, she worked at the Low Income Investment Fund (LIIF). This large nonprofit financial institution has invested more than $3 billion to date in community facilities, health clinics, homes, childcare centers, and more. At LIIF and through other pro bono projects, Hannah has consistently brought her passion and a learning mindset to advancing racial equity goals, championing concrete policy change, and facilitating courageous spaces of open dialogue.
She believes that deep and sustainable change happens from the ground up, and a savvy communications partner is key in translating work on the ground into a cohesive and inspired driving vision.
