Bayonia joins Mission Partners serving as an Executive Assistant and Marketing Coordinator with experience in Public Relations, Event Planning, and Administrative Support. Previously, Bayonia worked at The Hispanic Heritage Foundation, an award-winning nonprofit that identifies, inspires, prepares and positions Latino leaders in the classroom, community and workforce to meet America’s priorities. As the Social Media and Public Relations Coordinator, she managed social media for over 170 events and created marketing materials for major corporations, such as Colgate Palmolive and Southwest Airlines. Additionally, Bayonia worked on the Events team at the Global Entrepreneurship Network, a platform of projects and programs in 170 countries aimed at making it easier for anyone, anywhere to start and scale a business, to assist with planning the GEC + Capetown Conference in Capetown, South Africa. Lastly, she worked at Akooba Inc., creating content and conducting product research to increase business visibility. Inspired by the work of non-profits and creativity of this generation, she frequently volunteers and donates to local organizations in the DC Metropolitan Area.
Bayonia is a graduate of Iona College Hagan Business School. Her studies focused on International Business and Computer Science.
